Little Man Tate (band)

Little Man Tate was named after the movie, last four -piece indie rock band from Sheffield, England, which existed from 2005 to 2009.

Band History

The band played under the name Carousel Moon, later it was called simply Moon. For a short time they presented themselves as lazy eye. Thus, the band lost some of their fan base that simply did not catch the constant name changes. After its foundation in 2005, the group led by guitarist Edward " Maz " Marriot obtained with the help of the Internet network myspace.com and their own internet forum for the first time on regional notoriety.

In March 2006, she signed a record deal with British indie label V2 Records and released five singles and EPs since then. On 29 January 2007 their debut album About What You Know, the song is characterized by catchy melodies and real-life texts appeared. Their two most successful singles are the title Man I Hate Your Band and What? What You Got? , The latter is not to be found on the LP. Four of her five single releases landed straight into the UK Top 75 charts.
