Little Ossipee River

The Little Ossipee River is a right tributary of the Saco River in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Maine.

It forms the outflow of Balch Pond, near the border with New Hampshire. From there it flows in a north-easterly direction mainly by the York County. It flows through the Shapleigh Pond and subsequently to North Shapleigh. It flows through the city Newfield, and shortly thereafter the artificial lake Lake Arrowhead. He then turns north and flows east from Limington to Saco River. The Little Ossipee River has a length of 54 km. Its catchment area covers 486 km ².
