Little Tahoma, including Tahoma Little Peak, is a secondary summit of Mount Rainier in Washington state. It is clearly visible from 95 miles away from Seattle metropolis.
Geology
The rock is a volcanic remnant and was once part of the Mount Rainier summit area, has been separated by erosion, however. Little Tahoma is a brittle rocks were torn from the parts in 1963 by a debris avalanche on the below lying Emmons Glacier.
