Littrow (crater)

29.84

Littrow is a lunar impact crater on the north-eastern front at the edge of Mare Serenitatis, north of the crater Vitruvius and east of the crater Clerke.

Littrow is severely eroded, the interior is filled by lavas of Mare and therefore largely flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 by the Austrian astronomer Joseph Johann von Littrow.
