Liudvikas Sabutis

Liudvikas Sabutis ( born 1 February 1939 in Klaipėda, Lithuania) is a Lithuanian lawyer and politician, attorney and member of the Seimas, Deputy Minister of Justice, Soviet Lithuania.

Life

After secondary school at the middle school Kretinga he graduated from the school in 1957 for agricultural mechanization in Šilutė and worked as a mechanic and driver. From 1958 to 1962 he made ​​the Soviet army service in Leningrad. 1973 graduated from the Diploma in Legal Studies at the Vilniaus universitetas. From 1974 to 1979 he was chief prosecutor of Ignalina, 1983-1987 First Deputy Prosecutor General of Lithuania and Soviet 1987-1989 Attorney General Soviet Lithuania, then sowjetlitauischer Deputy Minister of Justice.

From 1990 to 2012 ( with breaks), he was a member of the Seimas.

From 2001 to 2004 he was a prosecutor in the Attorney General's Office of Lithuania.
