Live on Lansdowne, Boston MA is the second live album by the American folk punk band Dropkick Murphys. It was released on March 16, 2010 Born & Bred Records, the band's own label.

Formation

The recordings on the album were performed between the 12th and 17th March 2009. During this period, the band organized since 2001 a series of five to six concerts in their hometown of Boston on the occasion of the Irish national holiday, St. Patrick 's Day, which takes place on 17 March. A year later, on 16 March 2010, the album was released.

The track list was compared to the 2003's live album Live on St. Patrick 's Day (From Boston, MA) fundamentally changed, only the song Forever is in a slightly different form as Forever of 2009. The songs Johnny, I Hardly Knew Ya, (F) Lannigan 's Ball, Captain Kelly 's Kitchen and Fields of Athenry are original traditional Irish folk songs, but were partially used previously on the band's albums.
