Livestation

Livestation is a platform that can be transmitted via television and radio programs live over the Internet and received. It is of Skinkers Ltd.. and is based on a peer-to - peer technology from Microsoft Research. The use requires a free registration with Livestation.

Technology

Livestation works with the VC- 1 format. Offer In contrast to other services such as Joost, the video -on-demand ( "on demand" ), live streams are transmitted. Users can add their own channels to offer and choose whether they should be available for leisure or for all other users.

The tuning is done either via the website or using the search function in the player. Some live streams are only available in certain countries.
