Lívia Mossóczy

Livia Mossóczy - also Olívia Mossóczy - ( born May 9, 1936 in Budapest) is a Hungarian table tennis player. She was European Champion with the team and world champion in doubles in the 1950s.

Career

1955 won Livia Mossóczy at the Youth European Championship title in the girls single.

The Hungarian National Championships she won the title in 1957 and 1959 with double Éva Kóczián. In 1967 she was awarded the Ferencvárosi Torna Club Hungarian team champion.

Twice she took part in the World Championships. With the Hungarian women's team was fourth in 1957 and 1959. In 1957 she won with Agnes Simon the gold medal in doubles. On the first time in 1958 carried out for European adults, it was represented. Here it reached Éva Kóczián the final, which they lost to the Romanians Angelica Rozeanu / Ella Zeller. In singles and mixed with Elemér Gyetvai Mossóczy came into the semi-finals. At the next EM 1960 she became European Champion with the Hungarian women's team.

In the ITTF World Ranking 1957 she won 10th place
