Liz McClarnon

Elizabeth " Liz " Margaret McClarnon ( born April 10, 1981 in Liverpool, Merseyside ) is a British pop singer, dancer, presenter, and occasional stage actress. She is a founding member of the British pop girl group Atomic Kitten.

Biography

Atomic Kitten

1998 - Liz McClarnon was still at school - her music teacher arranged an audition when singer of British band OMD Andy McCluskey, the goal sat down to create a new pop girl group. Finally McClarnon was together with Heidi Range - the short time was later replaced by Natasha Hamilton - Kerry Katona and a part of the original main cast of the newly formed band Atomic Kitten.

In 1999, she released her debut single Right Now. 2001 Katona left the group because of her pregnancy and was replaced by Jenny Frost. Atomic Kitten sold more than 10 million albums and singles worldwide. The other success was maintained even after the separation from McCluskey 2002. After the release of the third album Hamilton, McClarnon and Frost decided in 2004 to take a break. In the years 2005, 2006 and 2008, there were brief reunions with respect to the publication of charity songs. Early 2012 were announced a reunion plans, but these were later discarded because of the differences between Frost and Katona. Nevertheless Finally it came to the Reunion, as Atomic Kitten in the beginning of 2013 emitted by the British channel ITV2 documentary The Big participated Reunion. Solo career

McClarnon was launched in June 2005 - along with Fran Cosgrave - in the reality dating show Celebrity Love Iceland from ITV, where she made ​​it to the finals.
