Liza with a Z

Liza with a 'Z'. A Concert for Television (general often Liza with a 'Z ') is a special of the U.S. NBC from 1972. At the heart of this show is the American singer and actress Liza Minnelli, with the same year her starring role in the musical film Cabaret the international breakthrough. Designed the program to the music of the theater - creators John Kander and Fred Ebb. Directed and choreographed by Bob Fosse led, who had also been in the Broadway musical Cabaret (1966 /67) and its film adaptation drawn responsible. Liza Minnelli's appearance on 31 May 1972 at New York's Lyceum Theatre and the slogan was filmed aired as " the first concert ever filmed for television ," on September 10 in 1972 on the NBC network.
