Ljubomir Fejsa

Ljubomir Fejsa ( Serbian Cyrillic Љубомир Фејса, born August 14, 1988 in Vrbas ) is a Serbian football player. He plays as a defensive midfielder with the Portuguese club Benfica and the Serbian national team.

Career

Association

Ljubormir Fejsa began his career in the youth team of Hajduk Kula and quickly rose in the A- team. In July 2008 he was transferred for a transfer fee of 1.2 million euros for Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade. In summer 2011, he joined the Greek giants Olympiakos Piraeus. He came to twenty league operations. In the 2013/14 season, Benfica secured the services of the Serbian midfielder.

National

Fejsa played for the U21 national team of Serbia and participated in the 2008 Olympic Games. His debut for the Serbian national team he was on 24 November 2007 when he came off the bench in the qualifier for the 2008 European Football Championship against Kazakhstan, in the 70th minute for Nikola Žigić.
