Lloyd LP 250, year 1957

The Lloyd LP 250 is a small car of Lloyd Motoren Werke GmbH in Bremen. The Lloyd LP 250 was called " test anxiety car " because he with the issued until 1954 old driving license of category 4 ( " vehicles ... to 250 cc " ) was allowed to be driven. Later, the interpretation of " vehicles = ( also ) Cars " was readily used by people who at an advanced age no driver's license class 3 (cars ) were confident more.

Unlike the Lloyd Lloyd 400 250 was available only as a sedan. Therefore, he always carries the additional designation LP.

As Lloyd LP 250 was offered in June 1956, it cost 2,980.00 DM, but with an over the LP 400 reduced equipment without hubcaps, bumpers, roof lining and rear seat. These parts could be retrofitted. In full equipment (LP 250 V), which was only available from April 1957 the car cost 3.350,00 DM or as much as the LP 400

3768 LP 250 and LP 250 V were built.
