LMC (British band)
LMC are the British DJ trio Lee Monteverde, Matt Cadman and Cris Nuttall of Blackburn. The abbreviation LMC is composed of the three first names. Monteverde has been active since the 80's as a DJ and producer, Cadman and Nuttall in 1991 founded the label All Around the World ( AATW ).
In the club scene, they set out as LMC a name with remixes for Lasgo, Erasure, and Kelly Llorenna. In 2003, she took on the mashup song Take Me to the Clouds Above. In this they can be sung to the tune of U2's With or Without You singer Rachel McFarlane few lines from singing How Will I Know by Whitney Houston. This song LMC had in February 2004, a number -one hit in the British charts, who then was able to place in the top 20 in Europe. With a version of You Get What You Give by the New Radicals, they tried to build on the success, Take Me to the Clouds Above but remained her only big hit.
