Lobsang Pelden Tenpe Dronme

Cangkya Lobsang Pelden Tenpe Drönme ( Tib. blo bzang nyi lcang skya ldan pa'i bstan sgron me; * 1890 in Datong, Qinghai Province; † March 4, 1957 in Taipei, Republic of China ) was a politicized clergyman of the Gelug School Tibetan Buddhism, he was the 7th Cangkya Qutuqtu, the highest person of Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia, and as a carrier of this title one of the four highest lamas of Tibetan Buddhism at all. He supported the Kuomintang and followed this later to Taiwan.

At the age of nine, he was ordered by the Emperor Guangxu in the capital to Beijing. At age ten, he was appointed by the Qing government to Zhasakeda Lama. He managed in Duolun, the monasteries Huizong, Shanyin, the capital monasteries Songzhu, Fayuan, Zhizhu and Fahai, beyond the monasteries Youning in Qinghai, in the Wutai Shan Zhenhai, Shanle and Guang'an. After the founding of the new republic (1912 ), he supported the Kuomingdang, of which he was also awarded the title and received financial expenses. He has held various offices in Taiwan.
