San Joaquin County
Lodi is an American city in San Joaquin County in the U.S. state of California. It has about 61,500 inhabitants ( as of 2004). The city is located at the geographic coordinates 38.12 ° N, 121.29 ° West. The metropolitan area has a size of 32.0 km ².
Lodi is known for its wines (see the article → Viticulture in California as well as → Lodi AVA). At Lodi also includes the community Woodbridge, which is also known for its wines.
Lodi has two high schools, the Lodi Tokay High and High.
Lodi has twinned with Lodi in Italy.
The city is also the subject of the eponymous song by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival from their album Green River.
