Lodi Township is one of 14 townships of Athens County in the U.S. state of Ohio. According to the census in 2000 1403 inhabitants were registered here.
Geography
Lodi Township is located south of Athens County in southeastern Ohio and bordered clockwise to the townships: Canaan Township, Rome Township, Carthage Township, Orange Township, Meigs County, Bedford Township ( Meigs County), Scipio Township ( Meigs County ), Alexander Township and Athens Township.
Management
The township is administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of three elected members. Two persons are elected in the year after the presidential election and one each in the previous year. The term of office lasts four years, beginning on 1 January. There is also a Township Clerk (Secretary), who is also elected in the year before the presidential election to a four -year term. Whose term of office begins on April 1.
