Lodrino, Ticino

Lodrino is a municipality in the district of Riviera, in the district of Riviera in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland.

Geography

The municipality comprises the Valle di Lodrino which opens into the Leventina. The population center is located on the right bank of the Ticino on the valley floor of the Levantine. Between the highway and the river Ticino is a small military airfield. The neighboring communities are from the north clockwise Iragna, Biasca, Osogna, Cresciano, Moleno Preonzo and Lavertezzo.
