The Löfbergs Arena is an ice hockey stadium in Karlstad, Sweden. The stadium will host the home matches of Färjestad BK from the highest Swedish league, the Elitserien. The naming rights to the arena holds the Swedish coffee roasters Löfbergs.

History

The Löfbergs Arena is primarily used for ice hockey and concerts. The Färjestad BK of the Elitserien bears since the opening in 2001 of its home games in the stadium. The arena was one of the three venues during the World Ice Hockey Championship 2002. Moreover, it was the venue for the IIHF Inline Hockey World Championship 2010. 2012 found in the arena, the European Curling championships.

Among the most famous musicians and bands that gave concerts in the Löfbergs arena include Elton John, John Fogerty, Bryan Adams, Dolly Parton, Rod Stewart, Motörhead and Judas Priest. In the years 2004 and 2006 was a semi-final of Melodifestivalen, the Swedish preliminary decision for the Euro Vision Song Contest, held in Karlstad.
