Löfbergs Lila

Löfbergs AB is a Swedish coffee roaster based in Karlstad. In addition to a roasting plant at its headquarters Löfbergs has an office in the Danish Viborg. The company is one of the major European importers of fair trade coffee and organic. Löfbergs also owns the trademark rights for the tea brand Kobbs.

The company was founded in 1906 by brothers Joseph, Anders and John Löfberg. After a short time the brothers Löfberg had eleven different coffees on offer, of which the most popular with its purple -colored wrapper was eponymous for the company.

With about 200 employees Löfbergs is now one of the largest coffee roasters in the Nordic countries. The annual turnover amounts according to the company about one billion SEK. The company is still family owned and is now run by the third and fourth generation. Each pack Löfbergs coffee contains on the page with a personal message with the signature of the Chief Marketing Officer Kathrine Löfberg, which belongs to the fourth generation of the owner family.

Löfbergs occurs inter alia, as sponsor of the hockey team Färjestad BK and the stadium Löfbergs Arena.
