The Loeffler 's syndrome is an allergic inflammation of the heart ( endocarditis Löffler ), central nervous system, skin, lungs, eyes, and / or the gastrointestinal tract with eosinophilic infiltration and pronounced eosinophilia in the blood. The syndrome is named after the Swiss physician Wilhelm Löffler ( 1887-1972 ).
