Logan MacMillan

Logan MacMillan ( born July 5, 1989 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Iceland ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since June 2010, when the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League under contract on their farm team, the Abbotsford Heat in the American Hockey League plays. He is the son of Bob MacMillan, who played for years in the NHL.

Career

Logan MacMillan began his career as a hockey player in the season 2005/ 06 in Halifax Mooseheads in the QMJHL junior league, where he reached 18 points in 62 games. In the following season he played 68 games and reached 55 points scorer. During the NHL Entry Draft in 2007, he was selected in the first round to 19th position of the Anaheim Ducks. Until MacMillan in 2008 moved to the Rimouski Océanic, he completed a total of 191 games for the Mooseheads, where he scored 124 points scorer. MacMillan ran in 41 games for Rimouski on the ice, in which he scored 27 points.

The attacker was taken at the start of season 2009/ 10 in the squad the Bakersfield Condors, with whom he played in the ECHL. June 30, 2010 it gave the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for Jason Jaffray to the Calgary Flames from. This sent him in connection to the farm team to the Abbotsford Heat in the AHL, where the winger was used regularly.
