Logan Pause

Logan Pause Allen ( born August 22, 1981 in Hillsborough, North Carolina) is an American football player. The midfielder has been playing 2003 for the Chicago Fire SC in Major League Soccer.

Youth and College

After he attended Jordan High School in Durham, NC, in 2000 he went to the University of North Carolina. There he played until 2002 for the college team North Carolina Tar Heels, where he was vice - captain of the team in his last season. During the semester break, he played in 2002 for the Raleigh CASL Elite in the USL Premier Development League.

After his college days, he signed a Generation Adidas contract with Major League Soccer.

Club career

In MLS SuperDraft 2003 he was drafted by the Chicago Fire SC. In his first season, he completed 21 games and won with the team the MLS Supporters' Shield. During the 2004 season he was used 19 times.

National

Pause played for various U.S. youth national teams. Most matches he played for the U -23 national team.

He was appointed for the first time in 2009 in the cadre of the national football team of the United States. During the CONCACAF Gold Cup in 2009, he completed on 4 July 2009 his first international match.
