Loggia dei Lanzi
The Loggia dei Lanzi is a building in Piazza della Signoria in Florence.
The arcaded structure was built in 1376-1382 by Benci di Cione and Simone di Francesco Talenti. The building originally served rallies and receptions of the Republic of Florence and later, after the housed here in the 16th century mercenaries ( Lanzichenecchi ) Cosimo I de 'Medici named.
The Field Marshals' Hall in Munich was built after the model of the Loggia dei Lanzi.
