Logi Geirsson ( born October 10, 1982 in Reykjavík ) is a former Icelandic handball player. He is 1.90 m tall and weighs 94 kg.

Geirsson, who last played for the FH Hafnarfjörður and ran aground on the Icelandic men's handball team, could be used as a left winger, as backcourt links or as a return Space Center.

Career

Geirsson began with the handball game at FH Hafnarfjörður in Iceland. In 2004 he moved to TBV Lemgo in the 1st Handball Bundesliga. 2006 and 2010 he was with the slippers EHF Cup Winners' Cup. In 2010 he returned to Hafnarfjörður. With Hafnarfjörður he won the 2011 Icelandic Championship. Due to recurrent shoulder injury, he finished his career then.

Logi Geirsson played 97 international matches for the Icelandic men's handball team, in which he scored 289 hits. With Iceland, he won the silver medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
