The Lohmühle Bach is a 786 -meter-long stream and a tributary of the river Wupper, which has its source in Wuppertal- But. It flows in the Wuppertal city district Langer field Beyenburg.

Etymology

The etymological origin according to the old place name comes from the Lohmühle Beyenburger Lohmühle, then it is also a road " Lohmühle " named.

Topography

The backfill reaches a maximum height of 20 meters. After the piping of the stream flows back to its original streambed and is accompanied again by a Hochstaudensaum. At the site of the former Beyenburger Lohmühle the creek trickles today by the backfilled Lohmühle pond and then flows through an extensively used pastures. Here he receives inflow through the 224 meter long Hagebuttensiefen.

Approximately 620 meters after the source of the stream piped under the road "In the Green " and then under the railway track of the disused railway line Lennep - Krebsöge - Rauenthal ( " Wuppertal train" ) and comes out in a garden out back. It flows for a short distance, a garden and pasture and is then piped to the mouth of the river Wupper out in about 205 meters.
