The Lohnder Bach is an approximately 3 km long tributary of the leash. It arises by definition, with transfer of responsibility for a ditch of the city Seelze for water authorities when crossing under the county road between the hamlets Seelze Kirchwehren and Almhorst.

It flows Almhorst southwest, flowing through the Lohnder wood and crosses under at Lohnde the B 441 and the Mittelland Canal piped. After crossing of Lohnde in a northerly direction it flows right at the north end of town in the lanyard.
