Lohuec

Lohuec ( bret. Lohueg ) is a commune with 272 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Côtes- d'Armor in the Brittany region. It belongs to the community association Communauté de communes Callac - Argoat.

Lohuec is derived from the Breton word lok, sacred place, and Saint- Juek, Saint- Judoce or Saint- Judec. There were different spellings for the name of the Breton saints Jodokus (7th century).
