Loïc Bigois

Loïc Bigois ( born September 19, 1960 in Aix -en- Provence ) is a French aerodynamics. He is head of aerodynamics at the Scuderia Ferrari.

Career

After graduating in aerodynamics at the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris, he worked for ten years as aerodynamics engineer at Micro Turbo Gas Turbines and changed in 1990 in the Formula 1 Ligier - Ford. In 1994 he became chief aerodynamicist at Sauber - Mercedes, but returned a year later returned as an assistant technical director for Ligier. When the team was sold to the four -time Formula 1 World Champion Alain Prost, he kept the job first and, after the disappointing Prost- Peugeot 2000 season as head of aerodynamics to Minardi. He stayed for three years in Faenza before it docked at Williams - BMW 2004. After separating from BMW, he worked for a year at Williams and moved to Honda in 2007. Bigois is married and has two children. He lives with his family in the British county of Oxfordshire.
