Loïk Le Floch-Prigent

Le Floch Prigent - Loïk ( born September 21, 1943 in Brest, Finistère department ) is a former high-ranking French manager. He was known in particular as CEO of Elf Aquitaine from 1989 to 1993, then as President of the French railway company SNCF from December 1995 to July 1996, when the investigations of the Elf affair began. He is the nephew of the Breton poet Maodez Glanndour.

Career

Le Floch Prigent - 1967 was his exams at the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble ( INPG ). From 1981 to 1982 he was Director of Cabinet of the Minister of Industry Pierre Dreyfus. Between 1982 and 1986 he worked as CEO of the pharmaceutical company Rhone- Poulenc. When he lost this position after a change of government, he received June 28, 1989 through the mediation of his " right hand ", Alfred Sirven the post of CEO of the largest French company, the formerly state-owned oil company Elf Aquitaine - a position he held until the 3. retained August 1993. On August 4, 1993 to January 2, 1996 Le Floch Prigent - worked as president of the state Gaz de France. Judgments and investigations

As part of the process Roland Dumas / Christine Deviers - Joncour: On 29 January 2003 Le Floch Prigent - was sentenced to 30 months in prison and a fine of two million francs. Two days later he entered the penalty in Fresnes (Val -de- Marne).

As part of the process to the Elf affair, he was on 4 July 1996 he was arrested and was in custody for six months to 23 December 1996, when he was released on bail of 500,000 francs. On 12 November 2003 he was sentenced to five years in prison and a fine of 375,000 euros. This judgment he did not make any appointment. On 8 April 2004 he was released on medical parole.
