Loitsche [lo ː tʃə ] is a village in the municipality Loitsche -Heinrich Berg near flare north of Magdeburg.

Geography

Loitsche is located on the ear, and on the south by the floodplains of Rogätz. Located northwest of the village begin extensive woodlands of Colbitz - Letzlinger Heath. The village is located around 30 kilometers north of the state capital Magdeburg.

History

Loitsche was first mentioned in 1152 in records in the Product Classification of the monastery Hillersleben.

Schloss Ramstedt was built in 1831 for Count of Zieten Adrian and his wife, nee Countess von der Schulenburg. The park was designed by the landscape architect Peter Joseph Lenne. From this period also the mausoleum with the coat of arms of Zieten and those von der Schulenburg. Between 1857 and 1945, Schloss Ramstedt owned by the family von der Schulenburg and served after the expropriation until 1999 as a home. The mausoleum is the small community as a cemetery chapel.
