Criticism

"Unfortunately, certainly not ignite all punchlines in wine vignettes: Too often get declamatory dialogues trains, and the occasional penchant for obscenity is not getting the movie really. What sets him apart from Greta Gerwig but saves is an attitude that ' pretends the ambiguous original title, Lola Versus. Because being on the other hand, at some point no longer called for Lola to despair of the world, but to challenge the conventional notions of personal happiness. And in the moment when she first sees uncertainty as a condition of freedom, Lola is suddenly quite himself. Alone, but full of confidence. "

" Greta Gerwig leaves us no choice, we must give all their Lola sympathy - because it gives it a floating detachment, which sets every drama that happens to her in quotation marks. The world becomes the panopticon. Sometimes it seems as if Lola hide their beauty and intelligence deliberately behind a facade of clumsiness and confusion. "

" The style may seem a little too straight; apparently here An Independent style was trimmed slightly to mainstream. But also lack the usual clichés: So none of the men is ridiculed, to upgrade the main female character. No one is how Lola admits blame for their plight. Lola Versus ', ie the movie in the original, Lola against ...' as a non- filled end to an action for divorce. It refers to nothing other than the only way of life that makes you happy in the long term. The other in the independence of the expectations "

At Metacritic, the film reaches a Metascore of 49%. From the experience gained from Rotten Tomatoes movie reviews 34% fall from positive (as of March 2013).
