Lomme

Lomme is a formerly independent city in the Nord -Pas -de- Calais Nord in northern France. It lies in the valley of the Deûle, has approximately 28,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the canton Lomme.

The city was part of the community as a community association Lille Métropole Communauté urbaine to 2000. Since then, she is affiliated as associée commune of Lille, while maintaining a certain degree of self-government directly to the big city.
