Lonban mosque

The Lonban Mosque ( Persian: مسجد لنبان [ mæsd͡ʒɛd lombɑn ɛ ] ) is an ancient mosque in Isfahan. The name goes back to the location " Lonban ", a neighborhood that is among the oldest of Isfahan. Today the mosque reflects the reputation of this region. The mosque was rebuilt recently, but some parts of their stucco and some paintings come from the era of the Safavids. Some inscriptions of the mosque, including the inscription above the entrance, are works of Mohammad Reza Emamis. In addition, an extraordinary Holzminbar during the era of Safi II has been found in the mosque, considered the exquisite work of art from the Safavid period.
