London Borough of Haringey
The London Borough of Haringey [ hæɹɪŋgeɪ ] is a city district of London. It lies in the north of the city. With the establishment of the administrative region of Greater London in 1965, he emerged from the Municipal Borough of Hornsey, the Municipal Borough of Wood Green and the Municipal Borough of Tottenham in the County of Middlesex.
The population continued in 2008, composed of 65.8 % White, 7.9 % Asian, 17.8% black and 1.6 % Chinese.
Its most famous attraction is the Alexandra Palace. In the stadium at White Hart Lane plays the football club Tottenham Hotspur. Sister cities are Koblenz ( Germany ), Arima (Trinidad and Tobago), Clarendon (Jamaica ), Larnaca ( Cyprus), Livry -Gargan (France) and Sundyberg (Sweden).
