London Dungeon

The London Dungeon is a chamber of horrors in London. It was opened in 1974 and is since March 2013 in the Westminster Bridge Road in the district of Bankside ( Southwark ).

The London Dungeon explores the bloody history of England of the past thousand years. Included are exhibitions about the Great Plague of London, the Great Fire of London, Jack the Ripper, Sweeney Todd, Bloody Mary and Alexander Bean.

There are actors hired to entertain as monsters or other creatures visitors with fright experiences, including the sneezing counts by a supposedly plague-stricken woman. On October 31 of each year there will be a Halloween party at the London Dungeon.
