London Welsh RFC

London Welsh ( officially London Welsh Rugby Football Club, Welsh: Clwb Rygbi Cymry Llundain ) is an English rugby union club that plays in the Aviva Premiership, the English top league. The home games are played at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford.

The London Welsh RFC was founded in 1895. So far, 177 Welsh international emerged from it as well as 43 British and Irish Lions, including famous players like John Dawes, JPR Williams and Gerald Davies. In 2006, the authorities tried a shot in the multinational Magners League to obtain, but this is so far not succeeded. Since it is not only a member of the English Rugby Football Union, but also of the Welsh Rugby Union, it would have been possible to play as another Welsh team against the Irish and Scottish teams.
