Longueuil Chevaliers
The Chevaliers de Longueuil were a Canadian hockey team in Longueuil, Québec. The team played from 1982 to 1987 in one of the three highest Canadian Junior Hockey League, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League ( QMJHL ).
History
The Chevaliers de Longueuil was founded in 1982 as a franchise of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The Chevaliers finished her debut season with a record of 37 wins, 29 defeats and four draws, so they were the most successful expansion team in the Canadian Hockey League all time. In the following playoff team failed only in the final matches in the best- of-seven series with 1:4 victories at the Junior de Verdun.
The following year, Longueuil lost in the final against the Voisins de Laval.
