Look Sharp! is the second studio album by Roxette. It was published in October 1988 by EMI and was the breakthrough for the band.
Formation
The album was recorded from March to August in 1988 in the EMI Studios in Stockholm and the Trident II Studios in London. The four singles The Look, Dressed for Success, Dangerous and Listen to Your Heart developed worldwide hits. Although the title of the album had already been used in 1979 by Joe Jackson, he liked Per Gessle, and he used it again.
Reception
Bryan Buss of Allmusic wrote, Roxette were with Look Sharp! on the " Pop - radar - screen " will "explode ". On the website the album is rated four and a half stars out of five.
