Lopez Island

Lopez Iceland is the third largest island in the San Juan Islands, an island group in the North West of the U.S. state of Washington.

It has 2,176 inhabitants ( 2002) on an area of 76 km ².

The island has the largest diameter in the north-south direction. The ferry stop is also in the north, where the parks Odlin Park and Spencer are Spit.

To the southeast is the Sperry Peninsula Peninsula, the Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen acquired in the 1990s.
