History
Lorca Deportiva is the successor club of Lorca CF which existed from 1994 to 2002. Previously, the club already under the name Sociedad Lorca FC, CD Lorca and Lorca Deportiva CF was known. Originally the club was already in 1895.
In the 2002/2003 season the club competed in the Tercera División. That same season he went on. After only three years in the Segunda División B is increased to once again, before you last but one again had to join the Segunda División B in the 2006/2007 where you currently plays for the climb.
Stadium
Lorca Deportiva plays in Estaio Francisco Artés Carrasco, which has a capacity of 8,064 spectators. The stadium was opened on 5 March 2003 in a friendly match between Lorca and Barcelona.
