Loren Leman

Loren Leman ( born December 2, 1950 in Pomona, California) is an American politician and served from 2002 to 2006 Lieutenant Governor of Alaska.

Leman grew up in Ninilchik, where he attended high school. He then studied at Oregon State University and at Stanford University and the University of Alaska Anchorage.

He was first elected in 1988 in the House of Representatives from Alaska and he owned from 1989 to 1992 at. That same year, Leman had been elected to the Senate from Alaska, whose member he was from 1993 until his election as lieutenant governor. Prior to the election he won against Sarah Palin and other competitors at the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor candidates. After four years as lieutenant governor of Alaska, Leman decided not to run for a second term. His mandate was adopted by the Republican Sean Parnell.

Leman is married and has three children, one son and two daughters. He lives with his family in Anchorage, in this city he has been based since 1975.
