Lorenzo Bucchi

Lorenzo Bucchi ( born November 21, 1983 in Rome ) is an Italian football goalkeeper who is since the beginning of 2011 at the ASD Atletico Arezzo in the Italian Serie D under contract.

Career

Lorenzo Bucchi began his career in 2001 at the former Italian second division Ternana Calcio, for which he his first two matches completed in the 2001/ 02 season in Serie B. He left the club at end of season and joined the third division Giulianova Calcio at, in which, however, he only acted as a substitute goalkeeper and was not used. The following year he moved to AS Fidelis Andria, with which he participated in the fourth-highest Italian league on league play. There, too, he received only a few missions, with the team still managed to promotion to Serie C1. However, in this, the team was able to hold and went straight off again only a year.

Bucchi then left the club and signed in the summer of 2005 at the former Swiss second division side AC Bellinzona a contract and completed in the 2005/06 season a total of 14 league games in the Challenge League. The following year, the Italians established as a goalkeeper and reached Bellinzona ranks second in the league, which the team was allowed to participate in the Barragespielen against second- last of the Super League.

In two games, however, the Ticino subject clearly against FC Aarau and thus missed promotion to the top flight. In the following season, the second rank in the Challenge League was again achieved and ensured participation in the rise of games. In two games the oberklassige FC St. Gallen was defeated and Bucchi played for the first time in his career in the top Swiss league. With eight points ahead of FC Lucerne succeeded in the following season to avoid relegation in the Super League.

He was also able to advance to the final of the Swiss Cup in 2007 / 08, in which he was defeated by the Ticinese 1:4 against FC Basel to Bellinzona.

In the summer of 2009, the Grasshopper Club Zurich announced the commitment of the goalkeeper. For the people of Zurich, he served as a reserve goalkeeper behind the Swiss Yann Sommer.
