Loretta Swit

Loretta Swit (* November 4, 1937 in Passaic, New Jersey, USA) is an American actress.

Life and career

Swit was born as the daughter of Polish immigrants, her father was an upholsterer, her mother a housewife. She studied against the express wishes of their parents acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Manhattan.
