Lori Lindsey

Lori Ann Lindsey ( born March 19, 1980 in Indianapolis, Indiana) is an American soccer player. She plays for Washington Spirit and in the U.S. national team.

Life and career

Lindsey started to play football game at Pike High School. During her studies at the University of Virginia she played from 1998 to 2001 for the Virginia Cavaliers from 1997 to 2000 for the Indiana Blaze in the W- League. She has received awards in two consecutive years as " Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year ," which had previously only Mia Hamm succeeded. In 2002, she played in the WUSA San Diego Spirit. In 2003, she won with Washington Freedom Founders Cup, making it last WUSA champion. After that, the game operation of the WUSA was adjusted.
