Lorraine Pilkington

Lorraine Pilkington ( born January 1, 1975 in Dublin) is an Irish actress.

Life and achievements

A graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting debut in a major role on the side of Beverly D' Angelo in the movie drama Miracle -. A mysterious summer by Neil Jordan in 1991 in the British-Irish Drama Gold in the Streets (1996 ) she was at alongside James Belushi to see; in the comedy Last of the High Kings (1996 ) she played a greater role opposite Catherine O'Hara, Jared Leto, Christina Ricci and Gabriel Byrne. The Irish sports drama The Boxer (1997 ), in which Pilkington appeared alongside Daniel Day -Lewis, was divided into three categories - including Best Picture - nominated for a Golden Globe Award - Drama.

In the comedy Human Traffic (1999) took over Pilkington one of the main roles. One of the key roles they played well - in addition to Joanne Whalley - in the thriller Endless Sins ( 2000). Another starring role followed in the British- Mexican Thriller terminus Mexico from the year 2004.

Pilkington is married to the director Simon Massey since 2001 and has two children.
