Winner of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Awards in the category Best Actor ( Best Actor). The American Film Critics Association is one of the first every year in early December with their awards for best film productions and film-makers of the current calendar year, known to be about a month later, in early or mid-January, awarded.

The most successful in this category were the American actor Robert De Niro, Robert Duvall, Jack Nicholson and her British colleague Daniel Day -Lewis, who could win the award twice so far. 19 times succeeded Film Critics Association in advance of the Oscar winners present, it will ultimately happen in 2010, with the award at the Brits Colin Firth ( The King's Speech).
