Los Angeles Wolves

Los Angeles Wolves is a former football club from Los Angeles in the United States that existed in 1967 and 1968. 1967, the American Association champion. Owner was the sports and media entrepreneur Jack Kent Cooke.

Mid- 1967, the English club Wolverhampton Wanderers FC as the Los Angeles Wolves in the championship of the then official Football Association of the United States, the United Soccer Association in part and finished second in the Western Division first place among six participants and defeated in the finals to be beaten as Washington Whips Aberdeen FC from Scotland 6-5 after extra time. Home ground was in that year the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

1968 played mainly from English but also a Norwegian and a few South Americans newly formed team at the Erstausspielung the North American Soccer League in the Pacific Division and was third there. Home stadium was the Rose Bowl that year.
