Los Banos (Spanish: Los Baños ) is an American city in Merced County in the state of California. It has about 31,300 inhabitants ( as of 2004), the urban area has a size of 21.1 km ². Southwest of the city lies the Los Banos Reservoir. In honor of Henry Miller a statue of him was erected in the city.
