Los Barrios

Los Barrios is a city in southern Spain. It belongs to the province of Cádiz in the region of Andalusia, located near Algeciras and Gibraltar. On 1 January 2013 22,948 people lived in Los Barrios. The inhabitants " Barreños " call themselves.

History

Though this region has been inhabited since prehistoric times, the city was founded in 1704 by refugees from Gibraltar.
