Los Flamencos National Reserve

The National Reserve Los Flamenco (Spanish: Reserva Nacional Los flamenco ) is a group of nature reserves in the municipality of San Pedro de Atacama in northern Chile. It is important landscapes and habitats in the Atacama Desert are developed for sustainable tourism and at the same time subject to nature conservation.

Description

The National Reserve Los Flamenco is one of numerous nature reserves for the national system of state-protected wild areas (Spanish Sistema Nacional de Áreas Silvestre Protegidas por el Estado ) belong in Chile and are managed by the Forest Service CONAF.
